In traditional yogic belief, asana is a tool for shifting the energy within the body to reflect pure awareness (purusa) back to itself, and it is this approach Sarah brings to her movement work. When working with Sarah, you will learn to move your body and breath in ways that give you greater control over the subtle energies within and help you quiet the mind. In this space of calm and clarity, your inner knowing can emerge. When we move together, we make magic.

With over a decade of experience teaching yoga and 700+ hours of training and study, Sarah brings her depth of knowledge to every class and workshop she teaches. (Learn more about Sarah’s background). Her approach is alignment-based and deeply influenced by the schools of Iyengar and Hathavidya Yoga.

Sarah has spent many hours dedicated to studying yoga for ALL bodies and how to teach with an anti-racist, anti-colonialist approach. As such, Sarah’s movment classes are accessible to all bodies, and she works hard to facilitate spaces that are safe and inclusive for people who may not usually feel comfortable in these spaces. BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, neurodivergent, and disasabled people are always welcome in any space Sarah facilitates.
